Certification Process

Certification, Diploma and Fellowship programmes will soon be released. BARD will be offering one of the most stringent postgraduate certifications in dentistry to both dentists and laboratory technicians, and also dental auxiliaries. BARD members will soon be recognized as professionals dedicated to constant improvement of their skills and knowledge, and to making the benefits of restorative dentistry available to more people every year.

Diplomate Protocol

The Diploma can be awarded to any member or certified member who has completed the requisite number of CPD hours in Restorative or Aesthetic Dental training (approx. 100 hours) and passes the Diploma Examination and case presentation in any of the following: Restorative Dentistry Endo/Restorative Perio/Restorative Aesthetic/Restorative Ortho/Restorative Prosthodontics The Academy has it’s own two-year Diploma courses in Restorative Dentistry, Endo/Restorative, Perio/Restorative, Aesthetic/Restorative, Ortho/Restorative and Prosthodontics which commences once

Fellowship Protocol
Fellowship Protocol

Fellowship of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry is the highest honour bestowed on a member of the Academy. The recipient has to show outstanding achievements in the field of Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. It is given to any member who has successfully completed the Diploma examination (one year) or similar Masters programme at a recognized University and who then presents a portfolio of 10 case studies for approval

A certificate in Restorative Dentistry (P.G Cert.Rest Dent) can be awarded to any dentist who has passed the required examination and completed the relevant number of CPD hours in Restorative Dentistry, or Aesthetic Dentistry. The Academy has it’s own one year programme leading to Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from BARD (PG Cert.Rest Dent)
